This site is unique in that you can view it as a parallel universe where the events of the manga/anime have never happened. The characters from the Naruverse have never existed here. It is a completely custom only site. You able to create a canon character though, you simply have to fill out the custom template with the canon character information and you've got yourself a canon character that is not held to the common standards of being limited to what the character knows from the manga.

In the beginning, there were no shinobi, no great shinobi villages, no super powered humans. Until one day, a man came out of the woods speaking of a great new power he had discovered on his journey of self discovery. Every one thought this man crazy due to his belief that his new power should be used in self defense and not for personal gain.

[b]Everyone thought he was crazy.[/b]

Then one day, he was attacked for the money in his purse. He refused and was struck. The man turned back with a fire in his eyes and blew a large stream of fire that killed his assailant and the village behind him. Then everyone feared his power, but he was able to convince the people that this power was not to be feared with the promise that he could teach others with the potential to perform the same amazing feat that he could.

[b]Thus, the shinobi were born.[/b]

The man taught only five and they traveled with him in awe and respect, but not without disagreement. These five are remembered today by Konoha, Suna, Kiri, Kumo, and Iwa. Each with a different elemental affinity. The man was confused by this as he was able to wield all five with relative ease. This was another source of tension among his students as each believed that they were better than their comrades. Many years passed and these five shinobi, lead by The Master helped a great many people. The first five shinobi settled into different villages that renamed themselves in honor of them.

[b]Thus, the Five Great Shinobi Villages were born.[/b]

There was still much tension between the five who were placed up as the leaders of these villages. However, The Master kept peace throughout the land as he traveled between the lands. But, The Master fell gravely ill in his old age and finally died from his sickness. The First Five Shinobi did all that they could in order to save him to no avail. The Master had taught them well, but he had not taught them everything. Each of the First Five Shinobi erected their own monuments in accordance with they had learned from his teaching.

[b]In Iwa, the Stone monument so that they would always remember that it does not matter who leads them, as long as they lead them well.

In Suna, the Kage's office was built to be spherical in shape to remind them that even though their loved ones may have died, it is all part of the cycle.

In Kumo, a giant island turtle had been found. It was finally decided that a solitary training facility be built in The Master's honor so that they might remember that he trained in solitude to better himself.

In Kiri, the Great Genin Tournament was created so they might remember that nothing in life is easy.

In Konoha, the Mount Hokage was started with The Master's likeness starting the line so that they might remember that all life is precious.[/b]

Despite all these great and powerful reminders, the First Five Shinobi, now the Five Great Kages, still fought over which of them were the best. Now, without The Master to quell the fighting, they waged the first Great Shinobi war. The First Five eventually killed each other and new leaders were elected. Peace reigned for a time throughout the land.

Many years have since passed since the First Great Shinobi War and the villages are once again on the war path. Tensions are high as each village looks to it's neighbor, expecting at any moment for a hand to reach out and hit them in the back.
